Abstract

Microwave heating of solid materials often faces challenges including low heating efficiency,non-uniform heating,restricted heating range,and the risk of"thermal runaway".To tackle these challenges,a novel microwave heating system utilizing a coaxial slotted radiator is designed.Through the development of a comprehensive multi-physics coupling model incorporating electromagnetics and solid heat transfer,an in-depth analysis of the system is conducted.The results demonstrate a microwave energy utilization rate above 90%,with an overall maximum temperature variation within solid materials below 10 ℃,thereby achieving efficient and uniform heating.The research provides a feasible solution for the industrial application of microwave energy.
