摘要

Abstract

[Objective]In order to cope with the arid climate conditions in Yulin region,improve the yield and benefits of Setaria italica culti-vation.[Method]This study conducted field drought resistance identification for the entire growth period of 23 new Setaria italica strains select-ed in the early stage.[Result]This study found that drought stress delayed the growth process of Setaria italica in the early stage and may caused premature plant aging in the later stage.The impact of drought stress on various agronomic traits of Setaria italica varies,with a more significant impact on plant height.Drought treatment suppressed the formation of Setaria italica yield.Among the tested strains,6 strains have strong drought resistance,12 strains have moderate drought resistance,and 5 strains have weak drought resistance.Based on comprehensive drought and normal yield conditions,as well as drought resistance classification,four strains including YL202209,YL202207,and YL202223 have performed well.It is recommended to further experiment and demonstrate planting.[Conclusion]YL202209 has the best overall perform-ance,ranking first in drought,normal yield and drought resistance index.
