摘要

Abstract

At present,although antibiotics are the key drugs for the treatment of inflammation caused by bacteria,the problem of drug resistance caused by antibiotic abuse is becoming increasingly severe.Therefore,exploring and apply-ing new anti-inflammatory drugs to deal with different types of inflammation has become an important topic nowadays.Pomegranates are rich in a variety of active ingredients that are beneficial to health,and numerous studies have shown that extracts of pomegranate seeds,rind and flowers have antimicrobial,anti-inflammatory,and anthelmintic effects.Pome-granate and its extracts have potential anti-inflammatory effects with few toxic side effects,and can be used for compre-hensive treatment of multiple targets,which makes it a new direction for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.The nu-tritional composition of pomegranate is summarized,and the mechanism of its anti-inflammatory effect is systematically elaborated to provide a theoretical basis for the further development and application of pomegranate anti-inflammatory drug products.
