Management Mechanisms and Planning Strategies of Hadrian's Wall National Trail in the UK:A Perspective on Linear Cultural Heritage Revitalization

Abstract
National trails are an important part of the UK's recreation system,with clear legal and institutional safeguards for their designation,planning,management and strong government support.As a typical linear cultural heritage,the Hadrian's Great Wall Path provides an effective way to protect the remaining heritage,perceive the holistic value of linear heritage,and enhance national identity.Taking Hadrian's Great Wall Path as an example,the challenges faced in planning and construction are analysed,elaborating on its successful experiences in enhancing legal frameworks,fostering partnership-based management models,and implementing scientific route planning in order to provide inspiration for the Great Wall's conservation and utilization in the new context of the Chinese national cultural park.关键词
