Research on Shear Performance and Form Optimization of FRP-Key Joint in Shield Tunnel

Abstract
In order to improve the connection effect of shield tunnel segments,FRP-Key joint is proposed,but the proposed FRP-Key joint is of only one form,and the impact of the joint form on the shear performance has not been fully studied.In order to reveal the factors affecting the shear performance of the FRP-Key joint and optimize the joint form,based on the existing concrete damaged plasticity model and test data,a fine model of FRP-Key joint is established which can reflect the damaged condition of the segment and the cracking process.By comparing with previous experiments,the model's rationality has been verified.Two different types of joint,T-shaped and circular,are designed.The stress value and damage condition of the segment on the side of T-shaped and circular joint composite structure subjected to shear are analyzed.The joint forms with better shear performance under certain axial force are preliminarily determined.The numerical analysis results show that the shear performance of FRP-Key can be improved by T-shaped joints and circular joints.The maximum stress of the segment with groove is reduced by 29%under T-shaped joints and 32%under circular joints.Finally,according to the engineering practice,some suggestions for application of FRP-Key joint were given.关键词
