Comparative Evaluation of Interlayer Treatment Measures for Polyurethane Concrete Stress Absorbing Layers

Abstract
Polyurethane concrete stress-absorbing layer can effectively improve the occurrence of pavement diseases such as reflection cracks in composite pavements,and improve the overall stability and durability of pavement structure,but there is a lack of evaluation research on the interlayer treatment measures of polyurethane concrete stress-absorbing layer.In view of this,firstly,SBS modified emulsified asphalt,epoxy resin and two-component polymer DCP(Double Component Polymer)waterproofing binder were selected for material performance testing;secondly,three kinds of binders were coated with five grades of polyurethane concrete stress-absorbing layer and asphalt concrete paving layer and cement concrete underlayment to carry out the interlaminar treatment,and composite specimens were tested for interlaminar treatment.The composite specimens were subjected to interlayer diagonal shear and pull-out tests to compare and evaluate the bonding performance and to determine the optimal binder and its optimal coating amount;finally,the composite specimens coated with the optimal binders were evaluated for freeze-thaw cycle and accelerated loading durability,respectively.The results show that the best interlayer bonding materials are DCP waterproofing binder,and the best coating amount is 0.8 kg/m2;after four freeze-thaw cycle the composite specimens bonding performance attenuation rate is less than 20%,after 60 000 times accelerated loading test the bonding performance attenuation rate less than 15%,and it is still higher than the original value of the other two kinds of bonding materials without freeze-thaw and load cycle.The durability against freezing and thawing and the durability against loading are good.关键词
