Abstract

In order to solve the problem that online shopping is unable to provide tactile interaction and quantitative information of tactile characteristics of textiles,a quantitative method of textile tactile characteristics is proposed and a tactile quantitative system of textiles is developed.Through the quantitative test system,the objective properties of textiles in four dimensions such as fluffiness,softness,sliding resistance and heat permeability are obtained,and subdivided into fourteen characteristic indices.With the fourteen objective indices as the input layer neurons and the four subjective sensations of fluffy feeling,soft feeling,sliding resistance feeling,and cool and warm feel-ing as the output layer neurons,the quantitative model of subjective tactile sensation is established to quantify the tactile characteristics of textiles.Ten typical samples are selected for the objective tests and the subjective evaluation experiments.The results reveal that there are significant differences among different samples of fourteen indices.The evaluation criteria of subjective experiment participants are relatively consistent.The prediction results of the quantitative model of subjective tactile sensation are in good agreement with the measured values,and the relative error was less than 5%.Combined with the label representation and the classification method of textile tactile characteristics,the proposed method can lays a foundation for the formulation of relevant standards of tactile quantification and be applied to present the quantitative information of tactile characteristics in the online shopping system of textile products.
