摘要

Abstract

In a New Era,a headteacher functions as a core force in promoting students'healthy growth,leader,organizer and educator the class in his or her charge,right-hand man in school education delivery,and the active agent in assuming key responsibility for the implementation of the national education policy.In fact,however,the professional development of headteachers has encountered a list of crises,such as lack of drive,lack of practical knowledge reserve and insufficient executive power.To counter these challenges,in addition to empowerment form education policy makers,headteachers should also have special professional development qualities,including dedication to professionalism,rich practical experience,and comprehensive steersmanship requited of headteachers.
