摘要

Abstract

With the progress of society and the continuous development of education,the architectural design of the campus in China has also been constantly innovated,especially the design of primary and secondary schools in the compulsory stage,which not only refers to the layout of buildings and spaces,but also reflects the realization of the future educational concepts and the physical and mental growth of the next generation.The 10-minute break between classes,commonly known as the"mini break",is an important time for primary and secondary school students to relieve fatigue and engage in playful communication.Urban primary and secondary schools are generally designed with four or five floors,and 10 minutes is not enough time for the students to engage in break activities from high-rise buildings to the ground.This paper takes"multiple informal activity spaces"as an opportunity to explore the strategies for the creation of multiple informal activity spaces in primary and secondary schools during a 10 minute break from eight aspects:horizontal overhead,courtyard grouping,overlapping functions,spatial reorganization,unit symbiosis,composite public areas,resource sharing,and multi-dimensional transportation.
