Abstract

Combining with the exploration on the recycling of waste building materials in global land consolidation,this paper establishes two carbon emission accounting models,namely non-recycling and recycling,explores and establishes a carbon reduction benefit assessment method for the recycling of waste building materials,and then verifies the feasibility of this method by taking the land consolidation of Yuli Village in Zhuanghang Town,Fengxian District,Shanghai(Phase II)as an example.The results show that the carbon emission reduction in the recycling process of waste building materials mainly came from three parts:the carbon reduction produced by fuel consumption in the transportation process,the carbon reduction produced in the production process of alternative building materials,and the carbon reduction in the final landfill disposal.After calculation,the total amount of carbon emission reduction from the recycling of waste building materials in Yuli Village was 161.13 tCO2 and its economic value was 14 400 yuan based on the carbon trading price in 2024,of which the carbon emission reduction from the production of building materials due to the saving of building materials is the largest.Based on the farm house reduced area,the carbon dioxide emission reduction caused by the recycling of waste building materials(100%recycling)was 671.37 t/hm2,and the produced economic benefits of carbon emission reduction were 60 000 yuan/hm2.Based on the reduced number of the farm houses,the carbon dioxide emission reduction was 1 007 t/100 households,and the economic benefit was 90 000 yuan/100 households.The recycling of waste building materials is an important means to reduce the amount of source waste and to effectively reduce carbon emission in land consolidation.
