Abstract

Vocational skills training for industrial workers plays a vital role in China's industrial upgrading and economic transformation.Against the backdrop of accelerating global industrial development,digital twins,with its unique functions and significant advantages,are profoundly reshaping vocational skills training.The features of digital twins,such as safety,real-time feedback,and remote collaboration,fit the practical needs of vocational skills training for industrial workers,expand the pathways of such training.In terms of value implications,the application of digital twins can reduce the cost of vocational skills training for industrial workers,optimize training resources,and innovate training models.Regarding application pathways,five key stages are as follows:defining skills learning scope and level,collecting and integrating multimodal data,cross-domain modeling and multi-dimensional fusion,real-time assessment and high-performance computing,and lifecycle data tracking and management.These stages demonstrate the advantages and potential of digital twins in vocational skills training for industrial workers.However,practical reflections reveal that technological compatibility and resource alignment require further optimization,data security and supervision need enhancement,the development framework and data collection processes demand standardization.
