摘要

Abstract

In this study,to explore the potential of high-frequency induction welding technology in welding ferritic stain-less steel,we welded two types of 410S ferritic stainless steels with different compositions using this technology.The micro-structure of the welded joints was characterized by OM and SEM,and their mechanical properties were evaluated by tensile and impact toughness tests.Results show that the welded joints of 410S ferritic stainless steel by high-frequency welding have a narrow heat-affected zone,no significant grain growth,and grains and microstructures distributed vertically between the matrix and the matrix due to external forces and heat input.The two stainless steels showed significant differences in the mechanical properties of the welded joints due to different Ni content,with the steel containing more Ni exhibiting better tensile strength and impact toughness.However,the decrease in Si content led to defects such as voids and oxide impurities in the weld.Nevertheless,the strength of the high-frequency welded joints was still significantly higher than the standard re-quirements.The study indicates that high-frequency induction welding technology has the potential to become an efficient and reliable welding method for ferritic stainless steel,offering experimental evidence and technical reference for the broader application of this type of stainless steel in the industrial field.
