Abstract

Lithium vanadium phosphate[Li3V2(PO4)3,LVP]has garnered significant attention as a cathode material for lithium ion batteries in recent years due to its high redox voltage and excellent theoretical capacity.In this study,LVP powder was successfully synthesized via the sol-gel method,and the evolution of its physicochemical properties under air atmosphere at different heat treatment temperatures was systematically investigated.The results showed that at 500℃,the gray LVP pow-der transformed into a green solid,with XRD analysis confirming that the main phase was lithium va-nadium oxy phosphate(LiVOPO4).At 800℃,the gray LVP powder converted into a molten black solid,and the XRD pattern exhibited an almost flat line without characteristic peaks,indicating that LVP had transformed into a glassy state.These findings not only enrich the understanding of the thermal treatment behavior of LVP materials but also provide significant structural information and theoretical foundations for further optimizing the performance of LVP materials.
