Abstract
This article focuses on the research and analysis of lightning protection against overvoltage during the operation of waterway engineering.In order to ensure the safe,stable,and economical operation of a hydropower station after its commissioning,the ATP-EMTP calculation program was used to simulate and calculate the lightning intrusion wave,bypass strike,and counterattack lightning overvoltage of the electrical equipment in the endpoint overvoltage protection area of the project,namely the voltage boosting station,under different operating modes.The study provides a reasonable configuration plan for engineering lightning arresters,insulation levels that meet the requirements of the specifications,and insulation coordination margins.A typical tower calculation model for power station incoming line segment was proposed,and the maximum overvoltage value on electrical equipment was given when lightning strikes and bypasses different towers.The overvoltage simulation calculation method used in the study is applicable to hydropower projects of the same scale with shipping requirements both domestically and internationally.关键词
