Spatio-temporal Characteristics of Coupling Coordination Degree of Population-Economy-Nighttime Light in the Five Major Urban Agglomerations

Abstract
Urban agglomeration is the leading area of regional development.Population,economy and nighttime light are important characteristics of urban vitality.We studied the evolution and coupling trend of population,economy and nighttime light gravity center of five major urban agglomerations in China in 2000,2010 and 2020,and analyzed the coupling coordination degree of Population-Economy-Nighttime Light of urban agglomerations and their cities.The results show that ①the three gravity centers of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Pearl River Delta are gradually separated,converge gradually in the Yangtze River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing Group,and fluctuate in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River group.②The coupling degree between gravity centers of nighttime light and population in urban agglomerations is higher.③The coupling coordination degree of Population-Economy-Nighttime Light has been continuously improved in the five major urban agglomerations,and the coupling coordination levels of core cities are higher.④Among them,the overall coupling coordination degree presents a gradient characteristic of east-central-west.This study can provide reference for related work.关键词
