Trends,Challenges and Responses of Female Youth Employment in China
摘要
Abstract
Young women are a key group in the job market.In recent years,young women have shown a significant increase in their education level,continuous upgrading of their vocational level,and a significant improvement in the quality of employment.However,the overall employment scale of female youth has declined;the unemployment rate has increased significantly;the employment of female college graduates is under greater pressure;The gender segregation of young people in occupation has worsened;and the degree of gender inequality has increased.Implicit sexism in the work-place,a lack of digital skills,and the dilemma of balancing family and work pose challenges to the employment of young women.To address the em-ployment difficulties faced by young women,it is necessary to start with industries that have a strong capacity to absorb young women's employment and increase efforts to create new job positions.It is also important to bridge the gap between the"dual-track"employment of"within and outside the sys-tem"to address the slow employment phenomenon among female college graduates.Efforts should be made to tackle the hidden gender discrimination in the job market and create a fair employment environment.It is also crucial to focus on enhancing the employment and entrepreneurial skills of young women to increase their job competitiveness.Additionally,measures should be taken to reduce both family and work burdens to promote a better bal-ance between family and work for young women.关键词
