Abstract
The ultimate operating characteristics of power devices are deeply explored,a novel high reliability cold redundancy power electronic inverter topology based on the change of failure characteristic parameters is proposed.The characteristics of internal evolution structure reorganization of IGBT bridge arm under rated current pulse stress after short circuit failure are revealed.Based on this theory,the dynamic short-circuit failure impedance characteristic of epoxy resin encapsulated IGBT is determined,which is stable and not more than 20%drift after transient short-circuit failure,even after 624 hours of continuous thermal cycling aging test.Finally,through the ver-ification of the new cold redundancy inverter test platform,the ultimate fault-tolerant high reliability power converter structure with"seamless"switching before and after short circuit fault and full power stable output for a long time is realized without reducing the reli-ability index,changing the control strategy and increasing the cost.关键词
