摘要

Abstract

A single source cascaded boost multilevel inverter for wireless power transfer(WPT)system is proposed,which consists of one DC source,two inductors,and multiple cascaded submodules.Compared with existing multilevel inverters,the proposed topology has the ability to boost voltage and balance capacitor voltage.Firstly,the topology of the proposed inverter is introduced,and the operating prin-ciple of the proposed topology is analyzed using a five-level example.Then the output voltage expression of the proposed topology and the output power of the WPT system are calculated and established.Moreover,the proposed inverter is compared with existing multilevel inverter and analyzed in multiple aspects,followed by the design of the modulation strategy of the inverter.Finally,a wireless power transfer system based on the proposed five-level inverter is built for experimental verification.The experimental results verify the feasi-bility and superiority of the proposed topology.
