摘要

Abstract

Objective To explore the application and effectiveness of the intelligent labeling system model in the intelligent development of pharmacy intravenous drug dispensing center(PIVAS).Methods The intelligent labeling system was introduced and optimized in the PIVAS of Kunshan First People's Hospital.Data before the application of intelligent labeling system mode(May 2022 to October 2022)was used as the control group,while data after implementation(May 2023 to October 2023)was used as the experimental group.The average number of labels affixed per person per day,the average number of labeling errors per day,labeling quality and satisfaction level were compared before and after the implementation.Results After implementation of intelligent labeling system,the average number of labels affixed per person increased from 194.35±3.92 in the control group to 997.80±27.86 in the experimental group.The average number of daily labeling errors decreased from 7.00±0.16 in the control group to 2.00±0.81 in the experimental group.Labeling quality scores increased from 24.55±2.85 in control group to 29.14±1.16 in experimental group.The time required to affix labels for every 1,000 infusion bags decreased from 65.00±5.32 minutes in the control group to 55.00±4.27 minutes in the experimental group.Physician satisfaction with labeling accuracy and medication safety significantly improved from 75.67±2.45 in the control group to 87.89±1.76 in the experimental group;Nurses'satisfaction with labeling speed and overall service quality also increased significantly from 76.89±2.68 to 88.54±1.83.Additionally,patients'satisfaction with overall medication safety and service quality improved from 74.98±2.90 to 87.23±1.92.All differences were statistically significant differences(P<0.05 for all).Conclusions The application of intelligent labeling system mode greatly reduced human resource consumption,lowered the labeling error rate,improved work efficiency,and enhanced clinical medication satisfaction,and promoted the intelligent development of PIVAS in our hospital.
