Research progress on the correlation between oral frailty and depression in the elderly
摘要
Abstract
As the population continues to age,health issues such as oral frailty and depression among the elderly have become prevalent public health concerns that severely affect the health status of the elderly.This review summarizes the concepts,assessment tools and correlation between oral frailty and depression in the elderly.Evidence suggests that older adults with oral frailty are more prone to experience depressive symptoms,while depression may further exacerbate oral frailty.These findings provide insights for the prevention and intervention of oral frailty and depression in the elderly.关键词
