Abstract
"Commercial science and technology"refers to the scientific and technological elements inherent in commercial activities,serving as an important category of folk technology and a significant subject in the history of science and technology.This study focuses on the Ming Dynasty Huizhou merchant handbook Shishang Leiyao(Classified Essentials for Scholar-Merchants).Through textual analysis and historical documentary methods,it systematically examines the technological knowledge contained in the manual regarding geography,storage,meteorology,and other fields.The research explores the connotation of"commercial science and technology"and its supportive role in business activities,revealing the interactive relationship between ancient commerce and technology.The findings demonstrate that the technological knowledge in Shishang Leiyao exhibits a distinct practical orientation,reflecting the Huizhou merchant community´s emphasis on technological applications.This study provides a new documentary perspective for research in the history of science and technology.关键词
