广西德保壮族夹砂陶制作技术调查与科学研究
Investigation and Scientific Research on the Production Techniques of Debao Zhuang Ethnic Group Sand-Tempered Pottery in Guangxi

Abstract
As an important variety of pottery,sand-tempered pottery holds a significant position in the history of human life and ceramic technology.This article employs a multidisciplinary approach to reveal the traditional manufacturing techniques and technological connotations of sand-tempered pottery of the Zhuang ethnic group in Debao,Guangxi.The research indicates that Debao sand-tempered pottery utilizes a composite formula of local clay and calcite temper,and follows a combination of coiling and jiggering techniques for shaping.During firing,the primitive open-pit firing technique and carbonization process are retained.Scientific analysis shows that Debao sand-tempered pottery belongs to the category of low-temperature pottery characterized by high calcium and high iron content,with a firing temperature of approximately 842℃.The microstructure reveals unmelted calcite crystals,and the water absorption rate of the finished product is about 15.42％,indicating a relatively rough product.The craftsmanship level is close to that of Neolithic pottery.The primitive and unique characteristics of Debao sand-tempered pottery provide a new perspective for studying archaeological issues such as the source and composition of early pottery materials,the method of adding temper,and the shaping and firing of pottery.关键词
