Abstract

This paper statistically analyses the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics,weather background and radar parameter indicators of artificial precipitation enhancement operations in Taizhou based on the records of artificial precipitation enhancement operations in Taizhou from 2020 to 2022,Taizhou Doppler weather radar products,Hongjia sounding data and ground automatic precipitation data.By means of operation rationality analysis and regional comparative analysis,44 samples with obvious rain enhancement effect were screened out with positive effect.The results show that Combined Reflectivity(CR),Echo Tops(ET)and Vertically Integrated Liquid(VIL)are positively correlated with the precipitation enhancement effect,and when CR is greater than 15 dBZ,ET is greater than 4 km,and VIL is greater than 0.5 mm,then the operation effect improve obviously,and the average value of rain enhancement rate is 12%.In addition,a multivariate linear regression model based on CR,ET and VIL is developed to predict the average 5-minute precipitation within one hour after the operation.
