The Legend of the Condor Heroes:The Great Hero:New Adaptation of Wuxia in the Face of Technological Myths

Abstract
The Legend of the Condor Heroes:The Great Hero sparks debate in Chinese New Year 2025,and rekindles the public's interest in martial arts cinema.Through non-linear narrative and surreal aes-thetics,the film reconstructs Guo Jing's growth story,and deeply explores the proposition of'the great hero'in the spirit of wuxia,demonstrating the hero's sense of family and nationalism,while the philosophi-cal connotations and visual innovations of the film also bring a unique viewing experience to the audience.However,the film suffers from narrative breaks and simplified characters,resulting in a failure to fully develop the theme of"the great hero".In addition,the over-reliance on special effects and spectacle has dis-solved the aesthetics of martial arts,and the film has fallen into the creative rut of"focusing on the art rather than the path".martial arts film need to reconstruct the"contemporary nature of the great hero"in the midst of the technological frenzy,balancing visual spectacle and humanistic expression.关键词
