Abstract
Objective To verify the effect of cold water immersion on the recovery from sports fatigue in team athletes.Methods A lit-erature search was conducted in Chinese and English databases such as CNKI,PubMed and Web of Science,with the search period from January 1,2000,to May 28,2024.Data were statistically analyzed using Stata-MP 18 and R software.Results 1)The pooled analysis showed that cold water immersion significantly reduced creatine kinase concentration(p=0.01),improved vertical jump height(p=0.01),decreased sprint time(p=0.00),and promoted muscle strength recovery(p=0.02).2)Subgroup analysis indicated that water temperatures>10 ℃,durations ≤12 min,immersion depth above the iliac crest,and continuous immersion could reduce creatine ki-nase concentration(p<0.05).Water temperatures>10 ℃ and intermittent immersion could enhance jump height(p<0.05).Water tem-peratures≤10℃,durations ≤12 min,immersion depth at or below the iliac crest,and continuous immersion could improve sprint performance(p<0.05).Water temperatures ≤10 ℃ and continuous immersion could shorten the muscle strength recovery process(p<0.05).Conclusion Cold water immersion can significantly alleviate muscle damage,improve neuromuscular function,and promote the recovery of sports performance.It is an effective strategy for team athletes to manage training stress or post-game fatigue.However,dif-ferent recovery goals require different optimal immersion protocols.关键词
