Abstract
In order to calculate the dynamic response processes of the plate-fin recuperator in a high-temperature gas-cooled reactor with a direct helium turbine cycle,this study established a one-dimensional compressible flow model of the plate-fin recuperator.The governing equations of the model were discretized using the hybrid semi-im-plicit method,and the decoupling and semicoupling methods were proposed to solve the temperature equations that couple the fluid domain and the heat transfer surface.Analyzing the calculated example of the recuperator's step-up inlet temperature using the aforementioned two methods and simulating the transient process under temperature,flow rate,pressure,and temperature-flow compound step disturbances show that the decoupling method offers a fas-ter solving speed than the semicoupling method.It is more suitable for the overall calculation of the plate-fin recu-perator in a direct helium turbine cycle system.The results show that this method can not only simulate the temper-ature response process of the plate-fin recuperator under simple disturbances but also be used to capture the pres-sure and flow rate responses that the incompressible model cannot calculate.Thus,this method can be effectively applied to the dynamic performance analysis of the plate-fin recuperator within the system.关键词
