Abstract

In order to obtain SiC ceramic joint with high temperature resistance,NiCoCr medium entropy alloy with high melting point was used as the joining material to connect SiC.The wetting behavior of SiC ceramics with entropy alloy in NiCoCr and the joining of SiC ceramics with NiCoCr and Ti/NiCoCr/Ti composite intermediate were studied.Results show that NiCoCr alloy will react violently with SiC in the molten state,promote the decomposition of SiC,resulting in a large amount of graphite phase and metal silicide in the brazing joint,and the interface wetting mechanism is solution-driven wetting.In order to reduce the interfacial reaction,Ti layer is introduced between NiCoCr and SiC.Results show that the high reactivity of NiCoCr can be inhibited to some extent,and a brazed joint without graphite residue phase is obtained at 1 380℃for 10 min.The bending strength of the joint at room temperature is up to 86 MPa,which is 143%higher than that of the joint without Ti layer.
