Simulation Analysis of Temperature Field in Electron Beam Welding of Ti2AlNb Alloy
摘要
Abstract
To investigate the optimal welding parameters of Ti2AlNb alloy,the finite element method is used to simulate the electron beam welding process of a 5 mm thick Ti2AlNb alloy flat plate,and obtains the distribution pattern of the welding temperature field under different electron beam streams,analyzes the characteristics of the welding thermal cycle along the center line of the weld and in the vertical welding direction,and predicts the width of the upper surface of the molten pool according to the thermal cycle curve.The results show that the use of a composite heat source can accurately simulate the Ti2AlNb alloy electron beam welding.When increasing the electron current,the melt pool width and melt depth increases,while the depth to width ratio decreases.Comparison of experimental and simulated weld morphology verifies the reasonableness of this simulation.Considering the welding temperature field,weld morphology and cost saving factors,a suitable electron beam current of 15 mA is inferred.关键词
