Abstract
In order to solve need of shot blasting on inner surface of large diameter steel pipe,original sandblasting machine was upgraded.A vertical lower casting head structure,which is positioned by lower support wheel replacing the central disk support positioning mechanism,was designed and produced.Shot blasting cleaning was performed at the six o'clock position on the inner wall of the steel pipe.A detachable sealed auxiliary chamber was added to expand sealing area.Additionally,high-pressure Roots blower were installed to assist in dust removal.Through transformation of sandblasting machine on original internal anticorrosion production line,which is suitable for pipes with specification of Φ508～Φ1 420 mm,the rust removal requirements for various specifications of steel pipes with diameters up to Φ2 235 mm can now be satisfied.The rust removal quality complies with the cleanliness grade Sa2.5 and anchor pattern depth 50～90 μm as specified in GB/T 8923.1.This upgrade has effectively addressed the issues of low efficiency and poor quality in shot blasting and rust removal for large-diameter steel pipes,while also reducing the need for shot blasting tooling storage and providing significant economic benefits to enterprises.关键词
