Abstract

At present,the chalcopyrite depressant used in copper-molybdenum separation has the problems of large dosage,toxicity,high cost and serious environmental pollution.Oxidation pretreatment-flotation is a new flotation separation method for copper-molybdenum sulfide ore.Electrochemical oxidation technology has great application potential in oxidation pretreatment-flotation of copper-molybdenum sulfide ore due to its advantages of green,high efficiency,low carbon and easy control.The electrochemical oxidation pretreatment-flotation separation test was car-ried out on a copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate with a molybdenum grade of 13.20%and a copper grade of 0.44%in Heilongjiang.The results show that the molybdenum grade is 55.58%and the molybdenum recovery rate is 90.99%under the conditions of grinding fineness of-0.038 mm accounts for 75.25%,electrochemical oxidation pre-treatment current of 10 A,pretreatment time of 60 min,water glass dosage of 400 g/t,emulsified kerosene dosage of 100 g/t and 2#oil dosage of 40 g/t.Molybdenum rough concentrate with copper grade of 0.96%and copper recovery of 47.02%;comparative analysis of sodium sulfide and sodium thioglycolate inhibitors shows that electrochemical oxi-dation pretreatment has a better flotation separation effect on the copper-molybdenum mixed concentrate.A molybde-num concentrate with molybdenum grade of 50.00%,molybdenum recovery of 96.99%and copper grade of 0.22%is obtained by closed-circuit test,which meet the quality requirements of molybdenum concentrate for copper content(Cu mass fraction≤0.25%),and copper concentrate with copper grade of 13.10%,copper recovery of 75.12%and molybdenum grade of 0.84%.This process not only realizes the effective separation of copper and molybdenum,but also greatly reduces the amount of chalcopyrite inhibitors such as sodium sulfide or sodium mercaptoacetate,shortens the separation process,and provides a new idea for the development of green and low-carbon copper and molybdenum separation technology.
