摘要

Abstract

Lithium slag is a solid waste generated during the smelting process of spodumene,which has problems such as low added value,difficult treatment and low market demand in the comprehensive utilization.Lithium slag con-tains a large amount of calcium sulfate,which greatly restricts its application in traditional industries;In addition,its iron content is also high,which limits its application in industries such as glass fiber,rock wool,ceramics,and micro-crystalline glass.In this paper,the lithium slag produced in the process of producing high-purity lithium carbonate products is used to remove sulfur and iron by'two-stage magnetic separation+acid leaching method',which can reduce the iron content in the smelting slag from 0.91%to 0.43%and the sulfur content from 2.58%to 0.11%.The research results can provide reference for the efficient and high-value utilization of lithium slag.
