Abstract
Water diversion is a commonly employed strategy for enhancing water quality in plain areas by optimizing the distribution of water resources.In recent years,numerous river-related construction projects have been undertaken in Shanghai,often necessitating temporary river closures to facilitate smooth project execution.However,these closures disrupt water flow and degrade hydrodynamic conditions,thereby compromising the effectiveness of regional water diversion efforts aimed at improving water quality.Using a specific project as a case study,a one-dimensional numerical model was developed with MIKE software to simulate and analyze how river closures impact the effectiveness of regional water diversion in improving water quality.Additionally,several water quality improvement measures were proposed to serve as a reference for similar river-related construction projects,aiding developers in better protecting regional water quality.关键词
