Abstract
By distinguishing the differences between the two types of flood storage and detention zones—detention areas located outside river embankments and floodplains situated between two main dikes—the number of floodplains in the Haihe River Basin was statistically summarized.Taking the Yongding River floodplain as an example,the management solutions were explored in response to the major issues that emerged during the Haihe"23˙7"flood were addressed,such as the inadequate flow capacity in the"middle drainage"section of the floodplain,initial slow stagnation and inundation losses and then discharge through the downstream main channels,and the impaired functionality of downstream river flood discharge.关键词
