Abstract
Large submersible sewage pumping stations are the critical component of urban sewage systems,and their construction and management are essential for the operation of urban drainage systems and public health.However,as equipment ages,various issues have emerged in actual management,such as disc-type single-flap check valves becoming stuck and unable to operate properly,swing check valves producing abnormal noise from the valve flaps,difficulty in observing the open/closed status of check valves,challenges in maintenance and repair,improper selection of check valves,and overly simplistic management and maintenance practices.This paper analyzed the problems in the management of check valves in the discharge pipelines of large submersible sewage pump stations in cities.It proposed relevant solutions,including paying attention to the selection of check valve models and materials,establishing management procedures,and maintaining thorough communication with valve manufacturers.These measures aimed to improve the operational performance of sewage pipelines and promote the healthy functioning of urban sewage systems.关键词
