老年2型糖尿病患者健康信息素养现况及影响因素分析
Analysis of the Current Status of Health Information Literacy in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Its Influencing Factors

Abstract
Objective Assessment of health information literacy status and influencing factors in elderly patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus(T2DM),providing evidence for conducting diabetes patient education.Methods A convenience sampling method was employed to select elderly T2DM patients undergoing standardized management from four primary healthcare institutions in Fujian Province for the investigation.Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine the primary factors affecting health information literacy among elderly T2DM patients.Results The health information literacy score for elderly T2DM patients was(94.60±30.32),with subscale scores including health information awareness(13.78±3.71),health information knowledge(32.78±15.67),and health information skills(48.04±12.92).A total of 41.50%of participants achieved a qualifying score(≥105)for health information literacy.Results from multiple linear regression analysis indicated that significant predictors of health information literacy scores among elderly T2DM patients were education levels of junior high school/high school/vocational school,college degree or above,occupation classified as'other',monthly income ranging from 1 000-3 000 RMB,monthly income ranging from 3 000-5 000 RMB,and better self-reported health status(P<0.05),and these variables accounted for 49.4%of the total variance in health information literacy scores among elderly T2DM patients.Conclusion Educational level,monthly income,and health status have been identified as significant factors influencing health information literacy among elderly T2DM patients.It is recommended to design patient education programs that are comprehensible and economically feasible,tailored to the specific characteristics of elderly T2DM patients,thereby enhancing their health information literacy.关键词
