Abstract
Objective To understand the awareness of mental health knowledge and attitudes towards mental illness among employees in high-tech enterprises in Haidian district,and to provide references for further improving regional mental health services.Methods From August 2021 to February 2022,a convenience sampling survey was conducted among employees of high-tech enterprises in Haidian District.The survey included a general information form,a questionnaire on awareness of mental health knowledge,and a questionnaire on attitudes towards mental illness.Data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0.Results The overall awareness rate of mental health knowledge among high-tech enterprise employees in Haidian District was 72.48%,with significant differences among different items.Higher awareness rates were observed among female employees,those aged 40-65 years,urban household registrants,married individuals,those with higher education levels,employees in specific occupations(such as technology research and development),and those with friends who had mental illnesses.Logistic regression analysis showed that age,gender,household registration status,marital status,education level,occupation,and having friends with mental illness were all related influencing factors for the awareness of mental health knowledge among high-tech enterprise employees(P<0.05).Regarding attitudes,a total of 43.38%of employees had positive attitudes towards mental illness,36.52%had negative attitudes,and 19.65%had neutral attitudes.While trust in individuals with mental illness was relatively high,there was still significant rejection and resistance in terms of social acceptance.Conclusion The awareness of mental health knowledge among employees in high-tech enterprises in Haidian District was generally good but needs further consolidation and improvement.It was recommended to enhance tolerance towards mental illness through multidimensional and multilevel education and publicity,and to improve negative attitudes.关键词
