Evaluation of the Effect of the Online Parent Vaccination Class

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of online parent vaccination class.Methods Parents of children aged≤3 months were selected from the vaccination clinic in Jing'an District,Shanghai.They were randomly divided into an online parent classroom intervention group,an offline parent classroom intervention group,and a control group.The knowledge and awareness of vaccination related knowledge,vaccination tendency,and trust in vaccines among the parents of the three groups of children were compared.Results In terms of vaccine related knowledge awareness,the online intervention group had a lower accuracy rate in answering the question of Is it correct to postpone vaccination time or not?compared to the offline intervention group.In terms of vaccination tendency,the online intervention group felt that the proportion of adults who needed to receive vaccines was higher than that of the control group and offline intervention group,and the willingness to receive free vaccines was higher than that of the control group and offline intervention group.The online intervention group had a higher level of trust in domestic vaccines than the offline intervention group.Conclusion Online parent classrooms for vaccination can significantly increase the willingness and trust of adults to receive vaccines,and can serve as an important supplement to offline parent classrooms.关键词
