Experience in the treatment of allergic disorders with raw licorice root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit and Japanese yam:A three-ingredient prescription formulated by Tong Xiaolin

Abstract
Allergic diseases have complex causes and tend to linger over time and recur frequently.Tong Xiaolin proposes that their intrinsic pathogenesis lies in deficiency of vital qi and constitutional susceptibility,while the invasion and latent retention of pathogenic factors serve as their essential triggers,and their pathological foundation is rooted in the dynamic conflict between healthy qi and pathogens,coupled with an imbalance between the exterior and interior systems.The core treatment principle focuses on reinforcing healthy qi while eliminating pathogenic factors.Tong's protocol integrates the harmonizing method with a targeted three-herb formula:raw licorice root,Chinese magnoliavine fruit and Japanese yam,Their commonly used dosages are 9 g,9 g to 30 g,and 15 g to 60 g respectively,and the maximum dosage can reach up to 120 g.关键词
