Abstract
In order to study the mechanical properties and durability of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC),the compressive strength test,the Brazilian splitting tensile strength test and the impermeability test were carried out on the recycled aggregate concrete samples.The results show that compared with natural aggregate concrete,the compressive strength,tensile strength and other mechanical properties of recycled aggregate concrete are low,which is mainly related to the quality,surface characteristics and bonding properties of cement and aggregate of recycled ag-gregate.The compressive strength and splitting tensile strength of recycled aggregate concrete are inversely proportional to the infiltration a-mount of recycled aggregate and proportional to the curing time.The surface of the recycled aggregate is rougher and the density is lower than that of the natural aggregate,which leads to the decrease of the compactness of the concrete,which makes it easier for moisture and gas to pen-etrate through the channel of the concrete,and then reduces its impermeability关键词
