Abstract
In order to explore the effect of natural asphalt based high modulus modifier(HDM)on the comprehensive properties of asphalt and mixture,dynamic shear rheological(DSR)test,rut test and low temperature bending test were used to systematically analyze the rheological properties of asphalt,high and low temperature performance and economy of mixture under different HDM content.The results show that HDM can significantly improve the high temperature performance of asphalt(the rutting factor is up to 220%),the dynamic stability of the mixture is3 795 times/mm(35%content),and the low temperature performance meets the specification requirements.Through cost-benefit analy-sis,the optimal dosage of HDM is recommended to be 30%~35%.The study revealed the modification mechanism of HDM and provided a theoretical basis for the engineering application of natural bitumen based high modulus materials.关键词
