Abstract

The deep development of the construction industry makes it difficult for the pipeline design in the traditional two-dimensional mode to meet the design requirements of current large construction projects.With the rapid development of the modernization of the construction engi-neering field,the use of BIM technology to create a virtual three-dimensional model of the pipeline of construction projects can not only enable participants to understand the construction process more clearly and intuitively.Construction efficiency and project quality have also been fur-ther improved.BIM technology can effectively make up for the defects of two-dimensional design by virtue of its three-dimensional visualiza-tion and collaboration.Firstly,based on the relevant theories of BIM technology,the application of BIM technology in pipeline design is dis-cussed.Secondly,the traditional pipeline design and the pipeline design using BIM technology are compared and analyzed by comparative a-nalysis method.Taking a kindergarten project as an example,BIM technology is used to establish a full professional model of the project,and collision inspection and optimization of the project pipeline are carried out,aiming to give full play to and display the advantages of BIM tech-nology,guide the design and construction accurately and efficiently,and provide references for the future construction of related projects.
