Visual Inspection Defect Determination Method Based on Laser Galvanometer

Abstract
A defect determination method combining machine vision and laser galvanometer is proposed to address the issue of suspected defect judgment.The detection system is systematically calibrated to establish a mapping relationship between the galvanometer deflection angle and pixel coordinates.Image processing algorithms are utilized for the preliminary localization of suspected defects on objects.Leveraging the calibration information of the detection system,the laser galvanometer automatically scans the suspected defect positions,and industrial cameras capture images of the scanned regions.The Steger algorithm is employed to extract the center of light stripes.RANSAC linear fitting is applied to the light stripe centers,and the gradients and curvatures between adjacent pixel points of the light stripe center are calculated.Defect determination is completed by analyzing the distance between the light stripe center and the fitted line and evaluating its smoothness.Experimental results show that in defect detection on surfaces of aluminum plates,particleboards,cardboard,and other materials,the Kappa coefficient of multiple sample groups exceeds 0.98,and the defect judgment accuracy reaches 97.03%.关键词
