摘要

Abstract

In high sea conditions,it is difficult for shipborne helicopters to enter and exit from the ship hangar.The helicopter recovery and take-off system is developed to solve this problem.Operator needs to monitor the deflection angle of the tail wheel relative to the fuselage in real time to ensure the safety of the helicopter tail wheel when pulling the helicopter into and out of the hangar.A visual measurement method of tail wheel deflection angle based on pipeline filtering and circular feature of hub is proposed.By installing two cameras on a mobile platform and using a near-infrared light source,the tail wheel deflection angle is detected and related experiments are carried out.The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively measure the deflection angle of the tail wheel,and the measurement error is within 5° when a reference true value is gained by gyroscope.This method can provide reliable value of tail wheel deflection angle for helicopter traction operation with sufficient measurement accuracy.It has significant engineering application value.
