摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the whole process of seismic damage development of rectangular concrete-filled steel tube(RCFT)columns and their fire insulation,low-cycle reversed loading tests were carried out on six full-scale RCFT columns with thick fire insulation.The local elastoplastic buckling bulging of the steel tube wall and the cracking and peeling process of the fire insulation were observed,and the physical mechanism of specimens damage and failure was analyzed.The effects of axial compression ratio(0.42~0.62),steel content ratio(10.0%~13.2%)and cross-sectional aspect ratio(1.0 and 1.4)on the damage development,failure mode,hysteresis energy dissipation,displacement ductility,strength degradation,stiffness degradation and damage deformation of the specimen were compared and studied.The results show that different design parameters both affect the seismic performance and the damage displacements of RCFT columns.RCFT columns with higher axial compression ratio or larger cross-sectional aspect ratio have smaller damage displacements,while RCFT columns with higher steel content ratio have smaller early damage displacements but larger later damage displacements.For the local elastoplastic buckling bulging process of steel tube,two states as initial buckling and full buckling were defined and the calculation formulas of the corresponding compressive strain of steel tube were fitted,which can be used to define the steel constitutive model for the finite element simulation of RCFT column members.The experimental study can provide a reference for the analysis of seismic performance and the classification of seismic damage grades of RCFT columns.
