摘要

Abstract

To improve the bearing capacity,energy dissipation capacity,and self-centering ability of structures while controlling crack development,this paper proposed a ribbed shape memory alloy(SMA)bar reinforced ultra-high performance concrete,engineered cementitious composite(UHPC-ECC)functionally graded beam with damage self-healing capabilities.To investigate the flexural performance and self-healing capabilities of the beams,three ribbed SMA bar reinforced ECC functionally graded beams and three reinforced concrete beams were tested under unidirectional low-cycle loading.The effects of concrete matrix type and longitudinal bar type on the flexural bearing capacity,hysteretic behavior,self-centering ability and crack width variation of the beam were studied and analyzed.A simple calculation model for functionally graded beams was derived and established based on a one-dimensional material constitutive model and specific calculation assumptions.The test results indicate that the ribbed SMA bar reinforced UHPC-ECC functionally graded beams exhibit superior bearing capacity,energy dissipation capacity,and self-centering ability compared to other test beams and maintain good crack control before failure.Using a composite of UHPC and ECC in the tensile zone of beams achieves effective self-centering and delays matrix crack development in functionally graded beams.The composite application of ribbed SMA bars and ECC in the tensile zone of the beam results in strain variation along the mid-span section height that conforms to the plane section assumption.The ribbed SMA bars have effective interaction with different concrete matrices,which can cooperate with the force and deformation.
