Abstract

To study the interfacial bond behavior of geopolymer recycled aggregate concrete-filled steel tube(GRACFST),taking the diameter-to-thickness ratio(D/t,28.50、32.57、38.00、45.60),recycled aggregate(RA)replacement rate(25%,50%,75%,100%),and concrete strength grade(C30,C40,C50)as variable parameters,10 groups of GRACFST short columns were designed.Additionally,one group of concrete-filled steel tube short column and one group of recycled aggregate concrete-filled steel tube short column as controls were set up.The static push-out tests on these columns were conducted.The whole failure process and final failure modes of specimens were investigated,and the load-slip curves,strain distribution,bond failure mechanism and variation regularities of bond strength were analyzed.The results show that the D/t has the most significant influence on the shapes of load-slip curves.The steel tube longitudinal strain of GRACFST specimens mainly presents a three-stage distribution at the load-increasing stage and finally shows a linear distribution at the load-declining stage.The interfacial bond strength of GRACFST decreases with the increases of D/t and concrete strength grade.The addition of RA can improve the interfacial bond strength of GRACFST to various degrees.As the RA replacement ratio increases from 0%to 25%,50%,75%and 100%,the bond strength of GRACFST increases by 28.97%,32.34%,11.96%and 0.93%,respectively,but it is generally lower than that of RACFST.According to the test results,the calculation formula for the interfacial bond strength of GRACFST and corresponding bond-slip constitutive model were proposed.The predicted results of the model agree well with the experimental results.The maximum relative error is 15%.The mean value and standard deviation of the ratio between the calculated values and the experimental values are 1.009 and 0.099,respectively.
