Abstract
The Wei Gong Tan Xun is a personal family instruction text specifically written to document the life and experiences of Su Song,offering profound educational significance.Within the broader context of the flourishing development of family instructions during the Song Dynasty and deeply influenced by the Su family's academic tradition,the Su clan-culminating with Su Song-established a relatively systematic framework of family instruction ideology.This paper emphasizes filial piety as its core tenet,upholds the principle of prioritizing moral integrity over literary accomplishments in personal cultivation,and admonishes descendants to adopt a disciplined,methodological approach to learning in their path to maturity and success.Wei Gong Tan Xun elucidates life philosophies through narrative story-telling,avoiding didactic instruction while popularizing Confucian ethical principles.It not only exemplifies the pragmatic rationalism characteristic of Northern Song family instructions,but also reflects their evolving tendency toward socialization and popularization,serving as a transitional milestone in the history of familial ehtical literature.To this day,the pedagogical insights within Wei Gong Tan Xun continue to provide rich educational value and inspiration.关键词
