Abstract
This article delves into university campus design from the perspective of regional characteristics,using the Medical Technology Innovation Park of Western Chongqing Science City(the new campus of Chongqing University)as a detailed case study.It begins by analyzing key factors influencing local architecture—natural conditions,cultural context,and technological elements—and elaborates on the design principles derived from these factors.Next,considering Chongqing's distinctive climate,topography,urban fabric,and traditional building techniques,it proposes specific requirements for campus design on both material and cultural levels.Finally,through the design scheme of the Medical Technology Innovation Park,it illustrates how regional characteristics can be integrated into modern university campus design,achieving a harmonious blend of architecture and landscape.This creates a campus environment that fulfills educational needs while being deeply rooted in the local cultural context,providing fresh insights for campus construction and a practical reference for fostering positive interactions between campus development and regional growth.关键词
