Spatial Renewal of Old Urban Neighborhoods from the Perspective of University Students'Vitality:A Case Study of Fucun Commercial Street in Xiqing District,Tianjin

Abstract
Old neighborhoods serve as crucial catalysts for urban renewal and vitality regeneration,playing a significant role in enhancing the spatial environment of urban areas and improving residents'well-being.This paper takes Fucun Commercial Street in Xiqing District,Tianjin,as a case study to explore the factors influencing neighborhood vitality by analyzing the activity patterns and consumption preferences of university students.It proposes optimization strategies across four key dimensions:integration and reconstruction of public spaces,upgrading of transportation systems and facilities,enhancement of environmental quality and hygiene management,and optimization and expansion of social interaction spaces.These strategies aim to provide ideas and practical references for the renewal and transformation of similar old neighborhoods.关键词
