Abstract
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of total-etching adhesive and self-etching adhesive combined with composite resin in repairing pit and fissure caries of deciduous molars in children.Methods:Ninety-eight children(207 af-fected teeth)with complete eruption of deciduous teeth and pit and fissure caries of deciduous molars who received treatment in the hospital were selected from January 2021 to January 2023 as the research subjects,and were divided into group A(n=49,100 affected teeth)and group B(n=49,107 affected teeth)by random number table method.Patients in group A were re-paired with total-etching adhesive combined with composite resin,and patients in group B were repaired with self-etching ad-hesive combined with composite resin.The filling operation time of the two groups was compared.After 3,6,12 and 18 months of follow-up,the filling body integrity,edge coloring and post-treatment sensitivity were evaluated according to the United States Public Health Service Scale(USPHS),and the pit and fissure sealant retention rate and secondary caries prevalence rate were counted.Results:The average filling operation time in group B was significantly shorter than that in group A.There were no significant differences in the filling body integrity grading,edge coloring and sensitivity between the two groups at each time point within 18 months after treatment(P＞0.05).At 3,6,12 and 18 months after treatment,the sealant retention rate in group B was slightly higher than that in group A,but there was no statistic difference(P＞0.05).The secondary caries prevalence rate was not was not statistically different between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Total-etching adhesive and self-etching adhesive combined with composite resin have similar clinical effects in repairing pit and fissure caries of de-ciduous molars in children,but self-etching adhesive combined with composite resin has shorter operation time and better sealing retention effect.However,the limited sample size and short follow-up time in this study may have an impact on the re-search results.关键词
